The evening red jasper from Java looks like a sun sinking into the sea. The different colored banding of the sunset red jasper is caused by silicate deposits with varying iron content; the Java Sunset Jasper is therefore a classic landscape jasper.
The major theme of Landscape jasper is to strengthen stamina, especially during prolonged stress. After failures, the banded jasper helps you to try again.
Due to the banding, the evening red jasper is also known as "cake jasper" or "cheesecake jasper" at its localities.
